Charity gala job offer scam—what to watch out for!
Summary — +16412607149
Expert Opinion
Calls claiming they need a bridesmaid or stylist for a charity gala sound like a classic high‑pay scam. The pattern of offering extravagant compensation, wardrobe, and spa treatments while mentioning St. Jude is a red flag. Verify any organization independently, never share personal or financial details, and keep a record of the call. If the request seems vague or the caller pressures you to act quickly, end the conversation and block the number. Report the incident to the FTC or your state consumer protection agency, and consider filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau to help curb these fraudulent outreach attempts.
