I love to waste their time by answering with silly questions, either to a computer or a live person, its funny to see them get frustrated and tie up their phone lines, lol.
Since the phone system switched to digital, things like that are not efective anymore, the sound of the horn will still get through but the audio filter will clip its ear-spliting volumne, thats been a while
My phone displays the ID as MINTO, which is different from Minot, and I have verified the spelling to confirm it indeed says MINTO.
Obviously, Joey is correct, if you atempt to call back some of these numbers (not recomendded) you may recieve a message that the number is not in servise. They use these numbers to show up on your caller id so they can't be traced back to them by the people at DNCR, they just want your CC info, they dont want you to be able to ever call them back.
In response to the calls, I have considered using a loud ship's horn to deter the caller.
