Minto ND robocalls: what’s behind the spam?
Summary — +17012481762
Expert Opinion
A robotic greeting asking how are you today appears in many of the reports. The calls use a pre‑recorded, computer‑generated voice that prompts you with vague promotion questions, often about dental plans or other offers. Caller ID frequently shows “Minto, ND” or an obscure code, which is a typical masking technique for robocall operations. Because the calls end abruptly when a voicemail picks up, they provide no useful information and are classified as telemarketing spam. To reduce exposure, register the number with the national Do Not Call list, block the prefix through your carrier, and report each incident to the FTC’s spam‑call portal. Keeping a log of timestamps helps authorities track repeat offenders.
