SHEIN verification texts – how to spot the scam!
Summary — +17072899821
Expert Opinion
Ever wonder why you keep getting random SHEIN verification codes on your phone? The pattern in these reports points to a classic phishing operation that masquerades as a legitimate e‑commerce brand. Scammers generate fake account‑creation messages, include a one‑time code, and hope the recipient clicks a link or shares the code, granting access to personal data. Because the texts arrive from the same short‑code, they appear authentic, but no recent purchase or sign‑up is linked to you. To stay safe, delete the message, avoid any links, and consider blocking the number. Reporting the number to your carrier and the FTC helps cut the campaign short.
