Following a nonsensical call similar to the ones previously reported, I informed the representative that I was undergoing hospice care and had no outstanding electric bills, to which the lady responded rudely, ignoring my mention of being on the do-not-call list before hanging up; subsequently, I received a text message thanking me for signing up for a job service that I never requested.
After being called multiple times at work, I returned the call and expressed frustration to the representative, acknowledging they were just doing their job.
Since the initial call, which was abruptly ended, this number has been avoided due to concerns about potential scams, particularly given past experiences with COLUMBIA.
Multiple calls have been made from this number, as well as others, and I choose not to answer them.
Using a call blocker can be helpful, and it's also advisable to avoid answering calls from unrecognized numbers.
