The constant calls from this number are relentless and intrusive.
Macy’s‑impersonating scam calls – how to protect yourself!
Summary — +17275565000
Expert Opinion
If you get a call from +1 727‑556‑5000 that claims to be Macy’s, brace yourself – it’s almost always a scam. Callers will pull your name, ask for the last four of your SSN, or try to verify a credit‑card charge that doesn’t exist. The safest move is to hang up immediately, never share personal info, and block the number. You can also add the line to your phone’s spam list, report it to the FTC at reportfraud.ftc.gov, and consider a call‑blocking app. If you truly have a Macy’s account, call the official customer‑service number from the store’s website, not the one they gave you.
