Midnight alarm alerts: legit or scam?
Summary — +18002686870
Expert Opinion
Imagine getting a midnight call about a fire that never happened—most people panic, but staying calm helps you protect your data. First, verify the caller’s identity by asking for their name, company, and a callback number; then hang up and call the official number on your alarm contract. Never share personal or financial details until you’re certain the call is genuine. If you discover the number is on a broad list, request removal under privacy laws or add it to your phone’s block list. Regularly review who has your contact information and keep your alarm provider’s contact details updated to avoid unwanted surprises.

This number is actualy legit, I have a security system and they call me weekly to remind me to change the batteries, they are a call center for various security companies
At 6:30am, I got a call from this number, it was clearly a scam, what kind of monitoring company calls without leaving a mesage?
A call from this number occurred when my alarm system was accidentally triggered, but there was no one on the other end of the line...
This experiene was very unprofesional and a complete scam, the person calling didnt even remembeer who they were calling and misspeld our company name
It would be considerate if these callers checked the time before making calls that might startle people at night
Beware, this is a scam attempt.
It's unmistakable that this is a scam, given the telltale signs of deception.
It is indeed the monitoring company, they called when our building fire alarm was tripped, just like they suppost to.
The issue lies not with the monitoring station, but rather with the security company's failure to establish proper procedures for alarm systems
My experiance with this security company was not good, they didnt follow procedur when no one answered their call, maybe its time to find a new monitoring company, meh.
