This toll free number was unknown to me, they left a message claiming to be Elan Financial Services regarding a fraud alert for my Citi Bank credit card, so I contacted Elan directly and it was legit, a charge had been made to my account somehow.
The logic behind looking up a known number is questionable; typically, one would only search for unfamiliar numbers, making this behavior puzzling.

In my case, this number was a legit call from my bank's fraud prevention team, they were contacting me about a suspicious purchase I made, which was a woman's dress, and they blocked the charge untill I confirmed it was legit
They say they're from fraud detection, but it's clearly a scam since they mentioned a card I dont even posess
This caller seem's legit, i've recieved several email's and call's from them, they helped me with a problem with my credit card
