I also fell for this scam, appearently they make bookings with hotels using Priceline, but they dont have any relation with the hotels, awfull experience
It appears many have fallen prey to this tactic, where the company in question books hotels through Priceline, then adds their own fees to the quoted price, showing no direct affiliation with the establishments, and has been reported to Google for such practices.
