Scam warning: fake Bank of America calls on the rise

Following a call from 1-800-432-1000 regarding alleged large payments, the individual attempted to persuade me to use Zelle and later claimed a charge had been made on my Paypal, after which I contacted my bank to freeze my account.

It's highly likely, approximately 99 percent, that a call from this number is a scam, although the actual number being used is a spoof of the Bank of America fraud department's number, so the best course of action is to hang up and recall the real number to reach the legitimate department.

A call was recived from this number just a few minuts ago, where they attempted to intimidate me by stating that I needed to cancel a couple of transactions from a checking account that was recently opened, which I didnt actualy open with BOA, or else they would report me to the credit buro.
