Scam alert: fake USAA callers on the rise!
Summary — +18005318722
Expert Opinion
Never give out personal data to an unexpected call claiming to be USAA. Most reports flag this number as a spoofed line used by fraudsters to harvest Social Security numbers, account details, or payment info. Treat any unsolicited request for verification as suspicious, hang up, and call the official USAA customer‑service line from a known source. Block the caller in your phone app, report the incident to the FTC, and consider a credit freeze if you suspect identity theft. Keep a log of call times and scripts; it helps regulators track patterns and protects you from future scams.
