I was contacted by this number about six months ago, and after being informed my computer was being hacked, I paid approximately $200 for protection, only to be targeted again, and I'm now wary of such scams.
While this is a legitimate Microsoft number, scammers have been impersonating Microsoft representatives, claiming computer issues and offering fake fixes for a substantial fee, which should be ignored.
Some lady said I qualified for $8,000 grant money, I told her to stop with the BS, she didnt like that and the line went dead, I know it's a scam becuse they allways ask for money

I've recieved multiple calls from this number, including one today, and despite being listed as MS tech support, i strongly beleive it's not actually microsoft, especialy since i havn't reported any issues with windows and i dont have any waranties or products that would require them to 'cold call' me, this is defenitly SPOOFED!
