Expert Opinion
It looks like you’ve encountered a classic phishing scam, folks. The caller, identifying as “Daniel from Amazon Customer Service,” claims to have spotted a suspicious order on your account and asks you to press a button to resolve it. This is a common tactic to trick you into revealing sensitive information, like your credit card number. The number often starts with 666, which is a red flag. Even if you don’t have an Amazon account, these scammers will still try to hook you. If you receive such a call, hang up immediately and report it to your phone carrier or a blocking service. Don’t press any buttons or provide any personal details. Stay vigilant and keep your guard up.
