After verifying the number, I belive this is a legit call from Comenity Bank. I called them back, entered the last 4 digits of my social, and recieved the account information via an automated attendant regarding my Ann Taylor Loft retail account. It turned out I was 2 weeks late on a payment, which I though I had alredy made. I ended up paying the bill through my secure online account, and it wasn't a scam after all.

Prior to receiving calls from this number, there was no knowledge of the bank's existence, and no credit card is held with this institution.
The reason for the call from Comenity Bank is unknown, as I have no prior connection to them.
On a Sunday, I received a call from this number and returned it, but as soon as they requested my SS number, I recognized it as a scam and ended the call.
Upon calling back this number, I was prompted to enter a PIN followed by the pound sign, with no option to speak to a representative, leading me to believe it's a telemarketing scam
