Upon answering, it became clear that this was a call center, with the number allegedly belonging to PG&E, although it appears to be a case of CID spoofing since there has been no prior interaction with the company

Instead of claiming to represent PGE, the caller identified themselves as being from SOLAR USA and addressed me by name.
Since I am not a customer of PGE and no message was left, I suspect that this call was made using a spoofed number.
