Expert Opinion

The calls from +18007706017 are almost certainly scams. The callers, often identified as Jennifer Brown, Kayla, Tia, or Ashlyn, claim to be from a merchant services company and assert that you’re being overcharged on your merchant account. They often request copies of your billing statements or personal financial information, which is a major red flag. If you receive such a call, do not provide any sensitive information. Instead, hang up and verify the legitimacy of the claim by contacting your actual merchant service provider directly. Reporting these calls to the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) is also a good idea to help protect others from falling victim to this scam.
