Wells Fargo scam calls – protect your account now!

This number is a fake wells fargo fraud alert, totaly scam

Beware of fraud alerts claiming to be from Wells Fargo Bank, stating that your account has been compromised; if you receive such a call, hang up and contact your bank directly, as legitimate banks usually notify customers of potential fraud via text or email.

This is likely a scam, as Wells Fargo would not request such information over the phone.

A woman contacted me, claiming there was an unknown transaction in my account, and requested that I verify a 6-digit code.

A similar experience occurred, involving a supposed Wells Fargo representative contacting me about alleged fraud activity and attempting to gain access to my account

Recieved a call from someone claiming to be from Wells Fargo, warning me of a $70K transaction, but it seemed like a scam, especialy since the number was registered to Yvonne Hernández, not Wells Fargo

A similar experience occurred to me the previous night, involving a suspicious individual with a fake professional accent who claimed there was fraudulent activity in Florida, despite my residence in Oregon. The caller stated I should have received alerts, but I had not gotten any emails or texts, which seemed unusual. I was then guided through online resets due to alleged issues with my digital wallet. Unfortunately, I provided my login credentials, and the individual proceeded to reset my password, request a new card, and link it to my digital wallet, also increasing my withdrawal limits. What's even stranger is that when I contacted the fraud department, they claimed the initial caller was legitimate. However, they took action to secure my accounts, and I was able to see a $16 charge from Florida, which I disputed. I had to keep a close eye on my accounts until the bank opened the next day.

Repeated calls have been received claiming a credit card was issued in my name, but the authenticity of these calls is questionable.

This number is suspected to be used by a scammer.

Apparently, a scammer posed as a Wells Fargo representative, making the conversation sound incredibly convincing, which led me to empty my savings account in an attempt to dispute unauthorized charges, now I'm left with no funds for college due to the potential inability of the actual bank to retrieve my money.
