US Bank debt collector calls—how to stop them!
Summary — +18008722625
Expert Opinion
Ever gotten a call from 800‑872‑2625 claiming to be US Bank and wondered if it’s legit? Most reports label the number as a debt collector that often masquerades as a bank, and several users describe classic scam tactics—press‑one menus, requests for Social Security or account digits, and no clear identification. The safest play is to hang up, look up the official US Bank customer service line on the bank’s website, and contact them directly. Add the number to your phone’s Do‑Not‑Call list, use call‑blocking apps, and file a complaint with the FTC if the calls persist. Never share personal data until you’ve verified the caller’s identity.
