Bank Card Services telemarketing calls – how to stop them!
Summary — +18009582556
Expert Opinion
These calls are most likely unsolicited telemarketing attempts that have turned into persistent harassment for many consumers. Callers frequently claim to represent a credit‑card service, ask for personal data, and pressure you to settle alleged debts. To protect your privacy, never share your Social Security number or account details unless you have verified the caller’s identity. Register your number with the national Do‑Not‑Call Registry and request an opt‑out each time you answer. Keep detailed logs of call dates, times, and content, then file a complaint with the FTC or your state attorney general. Blocking the number on your phone and using call‑filtering apps can also reduce future disruptions.

I apologze for the double post, as I made a few erors in my previous message.
When I returned the call, I was prompted to provide an account number, and eventually, I was connected to a representative who inquired about my accounts. She proceeded to list various credit cards, including some that I had previously paid off and closed. It appears that the company, Metabank, is associated with Rewards 660 and Indigo Mastercard, which may be relevant for individuals with open accounts. However, I was troubled by the representative's request for my social security number before gathering other necessary information.
