Scam callers pretending to be federal agents!

On June 15, 2022, I received two calls from this number, with the caller claiming I owed a meter fee of $500 and instructing me to contact the Public Utilities Division at 1-800-982-1278 for more information. After verifying with PSE, I was informed it was a scam and advised to report it to the FTC at 1-877-382-4357 and the WA State AG at 1-800-551-4636.

I got a message from someone with poor english, claiming to be officer john brown from the federal crime and invesigation department. He said ther was a legal complaint filed against me, and i needed to call him at 1-800-982-1278 or else an officer would show up at my doorstep

They also called me, so I googled the number, and I am glad I found out it is a scam, they are wrong for calling people with that bull, they need to be arrested, thank you alot for the information.

A scam call was received, using an old married name and falsely claiming a federal warrant had been issued, with multiple calls from different numbers making similar claims

This number is deffinately a scam, the guy who answers is really agrressive and thinks he's tough, i had a run in with the IRS a few years ago, but i've paid my debt and moved on.

Today, recieved a call from a foriegn guy who struggels to speak english proprely. He claimed to be from a goverment investigaton, but i dont think thats posible because goverment officals ushally just show up unanounced.

In 2006, I had an outstanding debt, and recently, a message from a man with an Indian accent, claiming to be from the 'Federal investigation unit,' was left on my answering machine, threatening arrest if I didn't return the call, which led to a disturbing and abusive conversation when I did call back.

The caller claimed to be Officer Parker, with a thick Indian accent, and when I returned the call, I was met with a rude and threatening individual who made disturbing comments.
