Medicare Scam Calls from Montpelier VT: What to Do!

A call on Veterans' Day requesting updated Medicare numbers is deemed suspicious and potentially a phishing attempt, advising against interaction or providing information

These foriegn scammers are trying to take advantage of senior citisens, by robo dialing and asking for there social security numbers, this number called me, but didnt leave a message

The caller ID displayed "Montpelier Vt" and the call was blocked immediatly on the first ring

Luckily, Google voice identified this call as spam and prevented it from ringing through.

This number is clearly a VOIP scam, as indicated by the CID.

This is a fraudulant caller, not from Medicare, Medicare only calls if you have a prearranged appointment with a case worker

It's essential to verify the Medicare card number, as scammers often provide a different number, and Medicare rarely makes calls, which should raise suspicions of a scam.

My client recieved a call from someone claiming to be Alex with Medicare, who wanted to update her medicare information, but when I asked him to provide proof of identifiction, he became evasive and asked me to read out her medicare card number.

No message was left by the caller.

A man with a heavy Indian accent called to discuss my Medicare plan, requesting sensitive information like my social security and Medicare numbers, which I refused to provide

At 11:10 am, I received a call from Montplier, VT, which I didn't answer, and the caller left only background noise with a heavy accent on my machine.

I got a call from a scammer, which is nothing new, I have alot of so called healthcare numbers calling me about insurance, but ther all just scammers.
