Microsoft support scam? How to stop the calls

Expert Opinion
Ever wonder why you keep receiving calls claiming to fix a Windows issue you never have? Those messages are classic tech‑support scams where the caller pretends to be Microsoft or Windows support and tries to trick you into opening remote access. Never press the Windows+R shortcut or share personal data with an unsolicited caller. Hang up immediately, add the number to your phone’s block list, and report the incident to the FTC or your carrier’s spam‑reporting service. Keep a log of repeat calls and consider using a call‑filtering app for extra protection.
