Regardles of being in the 816 area code, this number appeard on CID as "Out of Area" even thouh they called and left no messsage.
Calls were logged on multiple dates: 10/18 at 6:04 pm, 10/20 at 7:36 pm, 10/22 at 10:26 am, 10/23 at 3:42 pm, and 10/29 at 11:47 am.
The caller ID showed Kansas City, MO, but no message was left. Assuming it was a political call, I'm considering disconnecting my landline until after the election.

Further research revealed that the annoying callers from Hard Data, who have been contacting me daily, are now using a different area code to reach me.

As I block all 816 numbers, this call was blocked; upon checking the voicemail, I found a message from 'Hard Data' conducting a survey, and I have chosen to keep them blocked.
