Fidelity scam call warning – what to do!
Summary — +18177229727
Expert Opinion
Watch out for unexpected calls from this number; they frequently turn out to be a scam. Callers often pose as Fidelity Investments and push you to confirm account details or discuss required minimum distributions. Never share personal info unless you verify the caller using a known official number you initiate. Hang up if the caller asks for passwords, Social Security numbers, or login codes—especially when they mention Coinbase or other platforms. Report suspicious calls to your bank and the FTC’s complaint portal. Keep a log of call times and content, and consider adding the number to a block list to curb future harassment.

Unclear call from other source. Left a vague message, so I didn't call back. Cautious approach.
Although I missed the initial call from this number, I returned it, only to be placed on hold indefinitely; my personal accounts have recently been compromised, making this interaction highly suspicious, especially since the caller requested sensitive information and claimed to represent one of our affiliated companies.
This morning, three calls were received between 8:09 and 8:10 am, but no message was left
