Expert Opinion
Block unknown callers immediately; never share personal data with strangers on the phone. Most calls from the number display “Suntel” and follow a classic tech‑support scam script, claiming your computer is compromised and demanding payment. Use your carrier’s call‑blocking feature or a third‑party app to filter the number, and enable caller ID spoofing detection if available. Hang up as soon as the request sounds suspicious, and report the incident to the FTC or your state attorney general. Keep software updated, run reputable anti‑malware scans, and consider a separate call blocking list for future protection.
