Following an email and text regarding my card beeing added to google pay, i immediatly changed my password and notifed chime about the issue
I also received the same misleading message, and I'm concerned about how they obtained my email and phone number, as well as what other information they may have
A message arrived just before 8 am, shortly after using Chime through Google, but no verification was provided when the number was called, as something seemed off about the interaction.
This incident is a clear case of fraud, as evidenced by the email and text message I received. It appears that my Chime account has been compromised, and I am currently unable to access the app.
