Thanks to this website, i realised the charge was for a Nest Thermostat i purchased thru my utility provider, PSE&G, they should change how this appears!
Like others, i was suspisious of the charge, but later i realised it was for a thermostat i purchased from my local utility company, Columbia Gas
My credit card statement showed a charge from UTILITY STORE BILLING, wich is weird because i bought a sprinkler controller from my local utility company (SMUD) in Sacramento
The charge appeared as 'Utility Store,' and when I called, they wouldn't disclose their company name or affiliations. Thankfully, I discovered through this site that it was actually for SMUD's LED light bulb offer, which was misleading.
