DiDi verification code scam – how to stop the spam texts
Summary — +18339612053
Expert Opinion
Just after midnight, a surge of texts from +1 833‑961‑2053 began landing on phones across the country. Most of them carry a verification code from a service labeled “DiDi,” delivered in Spanish, Portuguese, or English, and they lack any clickable link. The pattern matches a classic phishing attempt that tries to lure recipients into sharing the code or entering credentials elsewhere. If you receive such a message from an unknown source, do not reply or enter the code, block the number, and consider reporting it to your carrier’s spam‑filter service. Keep two‑factor authentication enabled on legitimate accounts and monitor for any unauthorized login attempts.
