Dawn, allegedly from Comenity Bank, contacted me, claiming I required assistance with my Disbursement Sky Visa card. What's peculiar is that I don't have any cards issued or managed by Comenity Bank, and both my existing cards have zero balances. This suspicious call woke me up at 8:40 in the morning, and I'm still trying to make sense of it all.
A restricted caller inquired about someone unknown, providing a phone number and claiming to be Gail from Ikea, along with an extension number, 1514504.
It seem like a scam, they say they is from Comenity Capital Bank, but I dont have no credit card with them, they ask for my birthdate, I refuse, they give me a 844 number to call back, I believe is a scam, BEWARE!

They have contacted my bussiness cell phone three times, each time with a different person, claiming the matter has esclated, and using a threatning tone, asking for my daugther using her maiden name.

I recieved a threatning message on my cellphone from someone named Manny, claimin to be lookin for my ex-wife, we've been divorsed for over 25 years, i told him to remove my number or face consiquences
Repeated calls from this number, often with no mesage or caller ID, have been occuring, and recently it dispalyed as commenity bank, which we have no affiliation with. After checking our credt reports, we found nothing, leading us to beleive this is a scam.

Multiple calls were received claiming to be from Comenity Bank regarding an individual not residing in my household, totaling ten calls in two days

The number is non-functional, as when I called back to inform them they had the wrong person, the issue could not be resolved.
Apparently, someone I'm acquainted with listed me as a reference, which led to a call intended for another person. After returning the call to clarify the situation, I explained that I wasn't the person they sought and provided reasons why the actual person couldn't be reached to resolve the issue.

It's appalling that someone would call over a debt that's no longer collectible, threatening me to call back immediately, and identifying themselves as an agent, all while trying to collect a minimal amount of $65
People who answer are extreemly discourteous
I've been getting multipule calls from this 844 number, and also as a restricted number, they leave a message saying somthing about calling Cecilia Bowls, and I need to call them back by 5pm, but when I try to call them back, they put me on hold, I just hung up
Apparently, the previous post provides all the necesary information, meanwhile, if the call is ment for somone else, you can actualy sue them under the FDCPA and TCPA and recieve a significent amount of money, it's recomendable to consult a lawyer, they usualy take the case on a contigent basis
