It is quite ammusing that the individual who called me claimed his name was John King, which seems unlikly
The initial warning sign was the lady's introduction of the caller as Ging, despite claiming his name was John King. He alleged I had outstanding debt and written bad checks, but I was skeptical due to the lack of verification. When I requested written confirmation, he refused and instead threatened to contact my employer if I didn't set up a payment plan. After our conversation, I received multiple consecutive calls from the same number. I'm filing a report, as I suspect this is a scam from Summit Receivables.

Upon receiving a call from this number, I was asked to call back another number, supposedly regarding a withdrawal from my checking account, which I found quite alarming given my recent experience with stolen account information.
A message from John claimed he needed to confirm an automatic withdrawal from my checking account, but I have no debts or authorized withdrawals. The caller ID showed Santa Maria, and he provided an alternative number to call back, which seemed suspicious.

Some guy name Paul call me, saying i need to call back this number, but i dont think it's legit
Repeated daily calls from this number, with a person claiming to be Paul, have become a nuisance that I wish to see stopped.

Its a scam, they wont provide a bussiness name and hang up when asked, the local number that called me was 319 271 3404
A debt collection attempt was made from a local number, with no identification of the person or company. The voicemail message started with a statement about responding to negative comments and ended with a disclosure that it was a debt collection call, apparently from Summit Receivables, a company that had previously contacted me.
During the converstaion, a male claimed to be with Summit and requested my date of birth and full name to recieve a company benifit, wich i didnt confirm.
Receiving numerous scam calls daily is overwhelming, with at least 10-15 calls from suspicious numbers like this one
I called them to ask about what they want, but they cant give me any information, just a reference number, and they insist i owe them money and require payment, it's pretty scammy

What i beleive is that they wont sue you over 178.00, you should try calling the orginal creditor to work out settlement or call back and speak with another rep, either way your in good shape.
Following a voicemail from Chelsea, a subsequent call was received, and upon returning the call, Irene from the so-called legal department became aggressive, demanding immediate payment and threatening severe consequences.
A call was received from a representative claiming to be Chelsea at Summit Rec, reaching out from the number 844-498-6545.
It should be pointed out to her that debts constitute civil, not criminal matters, and legal action will be taken if she continues to harass.
Following an initial call from someone claiming to be Chelsea, I received another call from a person named Tammi Smith, who provided a phone number, 702-445-7777, and informed me about an alleged debt to Target Financial Services, threatening to involve my employer and the county of Alameda if I didn't settle immediately.
