CS Industries debt‑collection scam: What to watch out for!

Months later, i'm still dealin with this scam, dont give them nothin!

Fake law firm contacted me, making absurd claims that I had exaggerated my income and inquired about my bank balance to pay them, while also questioning the reality of the Covid-19 pandemic, which led me to conclude that the call was a scam

This is clearly a scam, I dont know why they even bother calling people.

Threats were made via calls from 8777379816 or 2132936034, with demands for credit card information by individuals claiming to be Michael or Amanda, who were notably rude.

Within a two-hour window, a series of calls were received, first from an unknown number claiming an urgent debt matter, followed by an email requesting debit card information, a sequence of events deemed suspicious and potentially scam-related.

I initially received a call from an unidentified number informing me of a supposed case file against me, threatening a court summons unless I settled the debt immediately, and later received an email requesting my debit card information, which I refused to provide due to suspicions of a scam.

I received a restricted call from a service claiming to need to reschedule a debt repayment with me, but when I inquired about the details, they were evasive and only provided a reference number and a phone number to call, which led me to CS Industries, a law firm that had allegedly sent me a letter about intending to sue me, a letter I never received.

I received a call with a similar threat, claiming I was being sued and that they had contacted my workplace, and they even sent an authorization letter to deduct payments from my account, but after researching the number, I believe it to be a scam.

Initially, the claim seems suspicious, particularly with the mention of 'CS Industries' in debt collection, which raises several red flags. Upon further investigation, it becomes clear that this is a typical debt collection scam. To protect oneself, it's advisable to request proof via mail and contact the credit card company for verification. A simple online search can provide more information on debt collection scams.

I am uncertain about the validity of the claims made by the caller and am seeking clarification on how to verify their authenticity.

Clearly, this is a scam and should be disregarded, if you want to persue it, request they send proof by mail as requiered, otherwize its a compleate waste of time, ignorning unknown numbers can be benifical.

Apparently a scam, threatening to serve papers within two hours, yet no information is available on this so-called company.
