Root Technology scam calls – how to stop them!

A warning was given that my computer is at risk of being compromised and will become outdated if I don't call immediately.

Appeared on my caller id as 'Root Technology', left a mesage on my voicemail claiming someone is trying to hijack my computer, these scams are relentless and wont give up, dont they no thats we're not intrested

The same message as others have noted, was left on my landline, saying 'WE' found your computer hijacked and information will be lost if you do not call this number back, hopefully no one falls for this scam, it happend yesterday too

A tape message was left from a molecular tech suppostedly from Microsoft, i imediatly hung up.

The caller left a voicemail stating that my computer had been compromised and urged me to call back immediately, providing a callback number.

Somebody hacked my computer, so i desided to have some fun with this scammer, they ask me to press windows key and letter R, like in Roomeo, and i see a scammer trying to scam me, he hang up after calling me a few hindi swears

After pressing 1 to connect, I informed them I didn't own a computer, which led to an argument from the representative, a surprising exchange

A woman left a message, asking me to call back so my computer informations dont get lost, its clearly a scam

Beware of this number, they are trying to get your personal informations, dont give them anythin, its a scam, call 845-478-9927 for help
