Just an odd call with no clear purpose; seemed like a random outreach that ended abruptly.
Scam alert: spoofed United Healthcare calls!
Summary — +18552292047
Expert Opinion
Calls flashing UHC on the caller ID often include oddly specific health details. The pattern across many reports shows callers claiming to know your blood pressure, doctor’s name, and birthdate, then pushing a vague wellness check or appointment. Because legitimate insurers rarely request personal data over an unscheduled call, treat any unsolicited request as suspicious. Hang up, do not confirm personal information, and contact your insurer using the official phone number on your member card. Register the number with the national Do Not Call registry and report the incident to the FTC and United Healthcare’s fraud department. Block the caller and monitor your accounts for unexpected activity.
