I've received multiple messages today, all claiming to be about a civil complaint, but it's clearly a protocol to intimidate, attempting to contact me before taking legal action
The experience with this number is identical to the previous one.
I dont usualy answer unknown numbers, and this woman from 855-440-2404 left a voicemail threatening to file a civil suit, but i'm not having it, so i deleted and blocked the number.
I have been receiving calls from this number, and when I spoke to someone, they claimed I had a payday loan from 2017, but when I asked for the date, they were unable to provide it, and when I asked about the bank, they provided the correct name, but when I had the bank on a three-way call, the representative confirmed that there was no such loan, and the caller quickly disconnected
Their intentions are clearly to intimidate people into handing over money.

Apparently, a company based in California embodies a caracteristic of alligating through discarded material to uncover supposidly 'old debt' and then attempting to intimidte individuals into making payments. Allegedly, they asserted I was responsable for a debt from a bank dating back 12 years, however I brought to their attention the statute of limitations in Texas, wich is 4 years to file, they becaame aggresive.

They call from multiple numbers, leaving a toll free number to call back, the latest call was related to a carpet company, but they claimed there was a civil suit against me, they never provide any informations about the suit.
Despite the caller ID suggesting a business management call, the conversation seemed to follow a debt collection script, which can be ignored if you're aware of your debt status.
Ive been reciving calls from Cogent Analytic, with the number 8162096564, they claim ther are several complaints against me, and try to reach me to settle them, this is a recoded call, they even menyioned a warrent, i'm just tired of this scam, they told me to call 855-440-2404

The person who called me said they was filing a civil lawsuit against me, but when I called them back, I told them to stop calling me, I think they are scammers and I was going to report them to the FTC, then they hung up on me

My wife and I have been receiving calls on our cell phones for about a week from this number and a spoofed local number. I recieved two calls today from this number, one with my nickname and the other with my nickname and maiden name, thats how i know its a bogus call
