Upon answering, the call promptly switched to voicemail, featuring a brief message in French that instructed me to press a certain button, followed by an awkward silence, reminiscent of previous encounters with similar 855-475-.... numbers that proved to be scams perpetrated by unscrupulous individuals.
Following a text message from someone claiming to be RAnderson, "VP" of Scotiahelps, and an email stating the same, I received a call this morning. What's alarming is the accuracy of my loan payment details they possessed. The automated voicemails from different numbers, including #7802301078 and 855-574-1557, seem suspiciously convincing. Yet, considering the comments here, I'm inclined to believe it's a scam.

I blocked my number and called back, providing a fake phone number to reach a live person. In an effort to disrupt their operations, I used a loud whistle to overload their headset. I intend to continue this tactic, as I believe these scammers prey on vulnerable individuals and deserve to face consequences.
