Erin Donahue debt‑collector scam: how to stop the threats!
Summary — +18557440709
Expert Opinion
Never reply to unsolicited debt‑collection texts—stop the conversation before they get a foothold. These messages commonly claim you’re in default of a signed agreement and use a fake “Compliance Department” name like Erin Donahue to create urgency. The callback number (855‑744‑0709) is reused across dozens of reports, confirming a centralized scam operation. Hang up immediately, block the number, and never provide personal or financial details. Report the incident to the FTC and your phone carrier, and consider placing a fraud alert on your credit files. Staying skeptical and documenting each encounter are the best defenses.
