Scam alert: Fake Apple & Microsoft support calls
Summary — +18559135111
Expert Opinion
Earlier today, dozens of consumers flagged calls from 1‑855‑913‑5111 as fraudulent. The majority of reports describe a spoofed tech‑support script that pretends to be Apple or Microsoft, demanding payment for a bogus refund or “computer repair.” Callers often claim to have hacked the victim’s device and threaten account lockouts unless money is sent. Never share personal or banking information with unsolicited callers, and hang up immediately if the request seems suspicious. Verify any alleged support request through official company channels, report the number to your carrier, and consider filing a complaint with the FTC or the FCC.
