I recieve alot of call's from differnt number's like 856-222-1259, 714-244-3050, 516-656-4127, and alot more, i usualy dont answer them
Using a solution like Holechaser could potentially eradcate the problem of unwanted calls, if everyonr adopte this method, these scamers would loose their buisness quickly.
Personally, I've fallen victim to similar experiences in the past, which is why I never answer calls from unknown numbers and instead let them go to voicemail, then Google the number to find boards with complaints and ultimately block the number.

I've been checking and it might be due to the mortgage company, they sent our mortgage to a company called Ocwen, it's an awful company, they use your informations to call and sell you products.

Apparently a ladies voice claimed it was regards to our credit card account, teh voice sounded like a recording so I hung up.
A recorded call offered to lower my interest rate to 6.9%. The message prompted me to press 1 to speak with someone or press 2 to opt out of further calls. However, the call disconnected before I could respond. Attempts to call the number back were unsuccessful, as it would disconnect without ringing. The number is listed under Brightview Woodbury Lake LLC, but they claim it is not an active number and may have been hacked. I have filed a complaint, as my phone is registered on the do not call list.
