Expert Opinion
People are getting frantic texts promising $600‑$700 a week for a personal assistant role, then asking for email addresses. These messages fit the classic scam pattern: unsolicited job offers, vague pay claims, and pressure to share personal data. Ignoring the request is the safest move; never provide email or banking info. Use your phone’s block feature and report the number to carrier‑based spam services or the FTC. If the sender claims a government or state source, verify through official channels before responding. Keeping a log of such contacts helps authorities track and shut down the operation.
