Google listing scam calls – how to stop them!

This number just called my cell phone, and i answered by reflex, but it was an automated Google business listing scam, which is pretty lame.

Repeated calls to my business line have been made without leaving any messages.

I was called once on March 5th and twice the following day.

Regular calls to my business phone claim my Google listing needs updating, but the caller ID shows it's not actually Google

A recorded message was left regarding my Google listing

They claim to be from Google business, wanting me to pay for search optimization packages, and they can update the listing's, but i know it's a total scam, i have contact the real Google alot of time's

A recording claimed that business records had not been updated, according to their statement.

In my opinion, spammers should be held accountable by the companies that provide them with phone numbers, and regulations should be put in place to make these companies financially responsible for the actions of their clients.

Despiete blocking these calles, they somehow manage to get through again after about 30 dayz, it seemz to me that the providers could stop this nonsence but they dont becuse they are making a revenue stream from it, i get 8-12 calles per day, my soloution is to answer, set the phone down, and press 1 after 15 secounds, wasting their time as much as posible

I block these calls but it seems to me that in about 30 days they are able to get in again, I beleave the providers have the ability to stop this crap but they dont because they are getting a revenue stream from them somehow, the best solution is to answer, set the phone down, and waste their time as much as posible.

This number called and didnt leave a message, didnt pick up since i didnt recognize the number
