Given my lack of familiarity with the company or the phone number, and the fact that I have no acquaintances in that region of Kentucky, I suspect it may be a telemarketing or spam call.
Who’s Behind the Persistent Convergence Survey Calls?
Summary — +18592923796
Expert Opinion
Like a buzzing doorbell that never stops, the number 859‑292‑3796 keeps ringing in Covington‑linked caller IDs, mostly without leaving a message. Callers repeatedly introduce themselves as a survey or market‑research firm—often using names like Convergence Research, Convergence Marketing, or even a spoofed Comcast Business pitch. The pattern of evening calls, vague scripts, and refusal to provide a verifiable company name points to a low‑cost telemarketing operation that banks on curiosity and fear. To protect yourself, add the number to your phone’s block list, register with the National Do Not Call Registry, and never share personal or financial details unless you can confirm the caller’s identity. Consider using a call‑screening app and report persistent abuse to the FTC for possible enforcement.
