Apparently, these people are trying to collect a debt from a family member who has passed away, which is totally insensitive, the guy is dead, what a rude thing to do, i'm assuming it a scam, shame on them for doing this to us!
West Asset Management calls: estate debt collection warning!

Expert Opinion
Yesterday afternoon, a wave of calls from the 866‑355‑0119 line has been surfacing, all claiming to represent a firm that handles the final bills of deceased relatives. Callers repeatedly request personal identifiers, executor details, or a payment on outstanding credit‑card balances. While some may be legitimate collection agencies, the pattern—generic scripts, vague company names, and pressure tactics—fits classic debt collection scams targeting grieving families. Before you share any data, request written verification, check the creditor’s official website, and confirm the claim with the probate court. Hang up if the caller can’t provide clear credentials, and consider adding the number to a do‑not‑call list.
