Quality Resources telemarketing calls—how to stop them!

Expert Opinion
Bottom line: those calls are a classic telemarketing hustle that uses free‑gas promises to snag personal data. If you keep getting the number, start by blocking it on your phone and adding it to the national Do Not Call registry. Monitor your credit reports and alert your card issuer about any suspicious activity. When a caller asks for birth dates, last‑four digits, or email, hang up and report the incident to the FTC and your carrier. Never confirm personal details unless you’ve independently verified the company’s legitimacy. A quick note: keep a log of call times – it helps when filing complaints.

I started reciving calls from them today, I got 3 calls so far.
Following an online purchase, this number has been dialing me incessantly, sometimes up to six times daily. My voicemail, which simply states the caller's number, always picks up since I don't answer. The fact that the business I bought from - they sold exercise DVDs and gliding discs - may have shared my information or had their corporate owners utilize it for spam purposes infuriates me. I attempted to block their calls, but unfortunately, Verizon's policy prohibits blocking 800 numbers, which I think is absurd. Despite their persistent calling, I plan to inform the original company about my dissatisfaction and my decision not to make future purchases from them.
The constant calls from this number are disrupting my work and I'm frustrated that I cannot get through to them when I try to call back, as the line is always busy; I demand to be removed from their directory and added to a do not call list.
You would need to look up the state from which the call is origionating, and contact the Attorney General or Consumer Protection Agency of that state, as contacting your local AG would be pointless unless the scammers are in the same state, thats the proccedure.

Following numerous calls to my cell phone, I decided to return the call and requested to be removed from their list, with the representative confirming my removal. Apparently, my information was obtained through a purchase from an info-mercial, specifically the In-Styler hair straightening gadget. Additionally, I have been receiving unsolicited supplements from LeanRx and have been closely monitoring my account due to reports of unauthorized charges. As a result, I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.

Upon listening to their pitch, it becomes apparent that agreeing to their terms results in being sent gas coupons and a discount program, but at a cost: they charge your card without disclosing the product or company involved. When I declined, they became agitated and refused to provide further details.
