Posed as FedEx but turned out to be fraudulent
FedEx Collections Scam Calls – How to Spot the Fake
Summary — +18664368150
Expert Opinion
Calls from 866‑436‑8150 often claim a FedEx collections department and demand immediate payment. The script usually mentions a past‑due invoice, a bogus account number and a threat of debt collection if the balance isn’t cleared right away. These callers frequently use a heavy accent or a fabricated name like Michael or Joel to sound credible. Never share personal or banking details, and don’t send money to a lockbox or unfamiliar payment link. Hang up, block the number, and verify any alleged charge directly with FedEx using an official website or customer service line. Report the incident to the FTC and to your phone carrier to help curb future scams.
