Expert Opinion
Like a persistent doorbell that won’t stop ringing, calls from 866‑613‑1020 keep showing up claiming to be Celco debt collector. First, never share personal information or payment details over the phone unless you’ve independently verified the agency. Ask for a written validation of the alleged debt and confirm the creditor’s name before taking any action. If the call is unwanted, add the number to your phone’s block list and report it to the FTC and your state attorney general’s office. Keep a log of dates, messages, and any promises made; this trail helps authorities investigate fraudulent collection schemes.
