The concept of 'noise' is perplexing, and it's unclear what the caller is trying to accomplish.
National Grid scam alert – what to watch for!
Summary — +18668757909
Expert Opinion
Most reports point to this number being used by scammers who pretend to be National Grid’s billing or debt‑collection department. Callers often claim your account is past‑due, demand immediate payment, and hang up or play music when you call back. If you’re sure your bill is paid, don’t share personal or financial info. Hang up, verify the number on an official bill or the company’s website, and consider blocking the caller. If the call feels threatening or asks for unconventional payment methods (gift cards, wire transfers), it’s almost certainly a fraud attempt.
