This call is a fraud attempt related to Social Security.

This is a blatant scam, exercise extreme caution when encountering this number.

A call was received claiming my social security number had been compromised and would be cancelled if I didn't respond immediately, which I found amusing; upon calling back, I was informed that the office was closed and was given unusual operating hours.

I received multiple calls from a different number, all claiming to be about avoiding legal consequences, but it's clear that this is a scam intended to deceive unsuspecting individuals.

Following a recent surge in calls, including one that was blocked due to being a Social Security scam, this number left two identical messages within a short period, threatening legal action, which is clearly a fraudulent tactic, especially given my prior experience with Social Security fraud.

After missing four calls, which appeared as 'US Govt' on my caller ID, I decided to research the number and appreciate the warnings from others.

This scam about social security...called me twice, firstly I didnt pick up, they didnt left any voicemail, 2nd time I picked up, automated voice told me someting like my social security will be suspended and ask me to press 1 for informations....I pressed 1, spoke with a real person, not a robot, he didnt gave me his name, I asked him who he was, he said something about cops, I said no, I followed the promts, he offer me his personal number, I was confused and he dissconnected the call?!?

A voicemail was left mentioning 'legal consequences.' A subsequent call from the same number was answered by mistake, but there was silence on the other end. After verifying the number, it was blocked and researched online.

This number contacted me, claiming to be from social security and stating that my social security number had been compromised.

Numerous calls have been received claiming to concern multiple bank accounts with transactions from Mexico and Colombia, only to be redirected and eventually disconnected.

Upon conversation, it became apparent that this was a fraudulent attempt to obtain personal information, including my name and social security number, prompting me to suggest visiting the Social Security Office instead
