Spectrum scam calls: what to watch out for
Summary — +18669145806
Expert Opinion
If you get a call from +1‑866‑914‑5806 claiming to be Spectrum, treat it as a scam until you can prove it’s real. Never hand over credit‑card or bank info over the phone, especially if the caller pressures you to pay an “outstanding bill.” Hang up, verify the issue by logging into your Spectrum account or calling the official customer‑service number (855‑707‑7328). Block the number in your phone and report it to the FTC or your carrier’s spam‑filter. Keep a record of the call – date, time, exact wording – to help authorities track these robocalls.

Apparently, this is a legitamate number meant for spectrum customers, but they often get wrong numbers, and you may recieve unpleasant yelling, just tell them they got the wrong number or ask to be added to the do not call list atleast
This caller appears suspicious.
Due to their persistent hourly calls, particularly when you're only five minutes late, it's clear they're relentless in their pursuit, making it even more unacceptable given the current economic situation with over 22 million people out of work, which is why I will never make a payment through one of these calls.
Seem like a scan to me
This is clearly a scam, as the representative claimed I had a cash loan, despite payday loans not being offered in my state, and the call was quickly terminated.

Totally unwanted spam call
This call is legit, its about my account, but if you didnt get a follow up text, you should call back with a different number to protect yourself, the correct number is on your bill.
Upon recieving a call about an account, i was promted to press a button, it sounds like a comercial, i later discoved it was actualy Spectrum
A call regarding an account was made, asking me to press 1 if the person was avaliable, press 2 if they werent, or press 3 if it was the wrong number... It sounds like an advertizement or somthing similiar. I called back and it was actually Spectrum, so I just hung up when they asked for the phone number.
Deceptive billing practices have led me to consider taking legal action against this spectrum collection call, which attempted to conceal their $19 basic cable service from me when I tried to switch last month.
Users should exercise caution with this number.
Spectrum has been calling me every month, tryin to convince me to pay for a month in advance, claming ther has been a change in my acount. Ive blocked all ther numbers, ther service is getting more exspensive every year
What's the point of looking up a phone number that's already known?
Spectrum made another billing error, they double billed me and added late fees, even though i payed on time, now i have to deal with their mess again, they need to get their bookkeeping together, one star from me!
In a rare instance of a useful robocall, this number contacted me regarding an expired credit card on my Spectrum account, allowing me to update the information promptly.
The caller claimed to be from Spectrum, which is my service provider, but they asked for a person I've never heard of, indicating a potential scam.
The behavior of this number, calling six times in rapid succession, is a clear example of harassment, aiming to force an answer by occupying the line.
This is definately spectrum, an automatic caller that will call 6-7 times in 30 secounds, which is totaly harassment
Despite claiming to be Spectrum, the caller was not legitimate.
It seems unclear what the purpose of the call was.
I got a call from 8669145806 at 5:24pm on 1/31/2020, when i called back i was asked why i was calling, they claimed i stil owed mony to spectum
Numerous calls from “spectrum“ saying i need to call in the next 24 hours about “important changes“ in my account status, filling up space on my answer machine for almost 6 minutes, will call soon, probally a robo call.
A caller claiming to be from Verizon stated that my account was suspended, but this claim was dubious given the caller ID and my automatic monthly payments.
