The pattern of behavior from this number is consistent with previous accounts, including the receipt of a text message, and upon returning the call twice, I spoke with two different individuals who refused to provide any information beyond mentioning a credit card from 2004.
Process Server Scam Alert – What to Watch For!
Summary — +18669894099
Expert Opinion
Turns out these calls are almost certainly a process‑server scam. Callers claim to be delivering legal papers, often using fabricated case numbers and names like Amanda or Jason, then pressure the recipient to pay for security software or settle a phantom debt. The pattern matches known impersonation fraud: vague court references, urgent time windows, and a refusal to provide verifiable documentation. Protect yourself by letting unknown numbers go to voicemail, using a call blocker, and confirming any alleged server through your local court’s official online list. Never share personal or financial data until you’ve independently verified the claim, and report suspicious calls to the appropriate consumer‑protection agency.
