I recieve a reminder for my flu shot
Blue Cross Blue Shield flu‑shot robocall – how to stop it!
Summary — +18772051650
Expert Opinion
Bottom line: the 877‑205‑1650 number is being used for unsolicited health‑insurance robocalls that push flu‑shot reminders, often citing Blue Cross Blue Shield or CVS Pharmacy. Callers rely on third‑party vendors and frequently disguise the source, making it hard to verify legitimacy. If you’re on the Do‑Not‑Call list, you can still receive these calls because they fall under a “health‑related” exemption. To protect yourself, register your number with the FTC’s Do‑Not‑Call portal, request a direct opt‑out from Blue Cross Blue Shield, and use call‑blocking services that identify robocall patterns. Never press numbers in the greeting, as that confirms an active line.
